U.S rapper Asap Rocky will be going to trial in Sweden following his arrest on July 6 in the country.
Swedish prosecutor Daniel Suneson, on Thursday, announced that he has "pressed charges" against the rapper, real name is Rakim Mayers.
ASAP was arrested with three other people in Stockholm following a street brawl.
In a statement, Suneson, said, "Today I have pressed charges against the three suspects for assault, because in my judgement what has happened amounts to a crime, despite the objections about self-defence and provocations,"
The fight was captured by US tabloid TMZ. ASAP has claimed he was acting in self-defence against men who were following his group. The rapper also posted videos on his social media showing what happened leading up to the fight.
The trial is expected to start on July 30.
Sunson speaking to Radio 1 Newsbeat, said his "evidence consists partly of a number of films that I will play in court. Some are known to the public and some are not".
ASAP was in Stockholm to perform at Smash Festival.
ASAP's case has even caught President Donald Trumps attention after Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West asked him to intervene.
