Busisiwe Mkhwebane has spoken out against the attacks on her, calling them "unfair and urging the media to "report factually".
The Public Protector said that the media has portrayed her as "horrible person", however she stressed the fact that she's here to save the Republic of South Africa and it's citizens.
Speaking at the University of the Western Cape yesterday, where she was part of a panel discussion which focused on how media reports on her.
This event forms part of the campuses 'historic UWC media society launch and the inaugural, annual Media Mind Blast initiative.
Calling out the media for what she referred to as "unwarranted attacks on her".
"Move away from twisting your headlines just to portray this person as if they are horrible. I'm not, I'm here to serve the people of South Africa".
She went on to stress that some of the courts judgement was open to interpretation, that's why her office appealed adverse findings against her.
"We are all objective".
Adding the fact that since she took up the position of Public Protector, her office dealth with 34,000 complaints and issued around 110 reports.
