South African National Defence Force head Siphiwe Nyanda is reported suing former President Jacob Zuma for R800 000.
Zuma threw out many a name in his lengthy opening statement at the Zondo Commission, accusing apartheid spies of working against him. One such name was former minister Nyanda, who confirmed with News24 that his legal team had filed papers with the Durban High Court since.

The matter was heard on Friday and the judgement was reserved.
The Sowetan went on the claim that Nyanda was asking for R800 000 for defamation and a public apology from Zuma.
This follows a similar case where another former minister Derek Hanekom is suing Zuma for R500 000 after he called him a "known enemy agent" in a tweet.
