Elsies River murder suspects set to appear in court

Three men arrested in connection with the murders of four people in Elsies River, Cape Town, are expected to appear in court on Friday. 

Two 12-year-old boys, a 10-year-old girl and an 18-year-old male were killed in the attack on Tuesday night. It is believed that the attack was gang-related. 

According to reports, the suspects stormed a wendy house on Tuesday killing four people and wounding two women. 

The women injured in the attack are believed to be the mothers of the deceased children. 

The suspects were arrested by the police's anti-gang unit shortly after the shooting. 

According to Eyewitness News, the Elsies River community policing forum said that the 18-year-old man killed in the shooting was the target. 

Angry Clarke’s Estate residents are expected to gather outside court.
